Good from Scratch Cookery School
(376 Taiapa Road, Muriwai)

MHG provided initial strategic advice and direction and then acquired the Cooking school resource consent and liquor licence for Michael and Belinda Van De Elzen for their latest venture in Muriwai.

Sephora
(152 Queen Street, Auckland Central)

Working with both the owner and tenant, MHG coordinated base resource consent for the heritage refurbishment and then fit out resource consent and building consent for the first Sephora in New Zealand.

The Edgerley
(14-16 Edgerley Ave, Newmarket)

MHG obtained the consent for 5 storey, 81 apartment building with basement car parking for 91 spaces. Additional consents for non-permanent accommodation were obtained following completion of the project.

Akarana Marine Sports Centre
(8 Tamaki Dr, Orakei)

MHG facilitated Hyundai Marine sports centre and Akarana eatery in acquiring their liquor licence. Areas include outdoor area, bar and restaurant and function room.

Digital Billboard 
(147-149 Victoria Street, Auckland Central)

Mt Hobson group guided Safari group to obtain a notified resource consent to install a digital billboard on the eastern facing facade of the new Ramada Hotel in Victoria St. Council recommended to decline the application. However, this was approved at the hearing.

The Vulcan 
(1 Halsey Street, Auckland Central)

Late last year we lodged consent for a new apartment building opposite Victoria Park in one of the most up and coming areas of central Auckland. An easy walk to Wynyard Quarter, Westhaven Marina, the CBD and Ponsonby we’re incredibly proud to be involved in this iconic project.

BP Connect Albany
(343 Albany Highway)

BP Albany Connect Service Station is the newest addition to the BP network. Located on Albany highway, MHG worked with the consultants to obtain resource consent on a non-notified basis.

Union & Co.
(15-17 Union St, Auckland)

We worked with Conrad properties and Leuschke Group Architects to redevelop this site and obtain resource consent for 148 free hold strata title residences, 4 boutique retail shops and associated car parking all designed around a central courtyard.

Jump Trampoline World
(6-10 Jomac Place, Avondale)

JUMP is Auckland’s premier indoor trampoline Park. From dodgeball to a 50m x 50m trampoline and foam pits there is fun for the whole family. There are now three locations in Auckland, all of which MHG worked on to obtain Resource Consent.

Waikumete Cemetery – Mausoleum
(4128 Great North Rd, Glen Eden)

MHG navigated the process of getting the Cemetery’s Sexton approval, provision of heritage reports and resource consent approval and a design that was both sensitive to the other Mausolea and the needs of the family.

Queens Residences
(17 Wakefield Street, Auckland Central)

We worked with Conrad Properties and Leushke Group Architects to bring Central Auckland this contemporary and vibrant ‘vertical village’.

Campbells Bay Early Learning Centre
(220 Beach Road, Campbells Bay)

Located in a residential zone Campbells Bay early learning childcare centre is developed to cater more than 100 children. We obtained resource consent to build new childcare centre involving alteration to a scheduled heritage building. Campbells Early Learning Centre won best in category in the 2019 Hawkins Heritage and Adaptive Reuse Property Award.

Orere Pt. Subdivision
(48 Orere Point Road, Orere Point)

MHG achieved Resource Consent on a non-notified basis for 20-lot coastal-residential subdivision. The site was within  an outstanding natural feature which required protection of the terraces, bordering the river and careful consideration around ecology, earthworks and servicing.

Heletranz
(234 Rosedale Road, Albany)

MHG has proudly worked with Heletranz for a number of years. The latest consent increased the number of flights per day from 12 (12 Arrival and 12 Departure) to 35 (35 Arrival and 35 Departure).

Ramada Victoria
(147 Victoria St, Auckland CBD)

MHG guided Safari Group in obtaining the Resource Consent for an 11 storey mixed use development. It consists of office/retail space on ground floor, 3 levels of hotel accommodation, 51 residential apartment units and 73 car parking spaces over two basement levels. It involved the retention of part of a heritage building and the consent of a digital billboard.

Hill St. House
(5 Hillside Crescent North, Mt Eden)

Following a successful 2 lot subdivision, MHG managed the consent process for a new house in the single house, special character and heritage zone. The design was complicated by the restrictive Mt Eden view protection plain. A great outcome for the client and outstanding architecture by Lindy Leuschke.

One Health
(122 Remuera Rd, Remuera, Auckland)

A 2000m2, 83 Carpark, purpose built comprehensive medical and health care facility.

Apartment Building
(85 Nuffield Street, Newmarket)

Our team worked with Architect Neville Price to get resource consent to build apartment building in the heart of Newmarket. It consist of 16 boutique residential apartments, a shop and parking. It sits prominent on the skyline and was designed to appeal to the “Downsizers”
